Traveling

This year I am taking a trip to see a old friend, which has the same handicap but on the left side of his body.  You maybe being asking "so?"  People with handicaps with have few more steps to get ready for a trip:

  1. Pick a date (all that stuff)
  2. Buy airplane tickets
  3. Make sure that it was booked
  4. Call the airline
    • Let the airline know that you just booked a flight
      • You have a handicap
        • You tell them what you will need on the days of your flights
      5. Find a ride to the airport on the day of your flight
      6. Pack for the trip
      7. Get to the airport
      8. Check in
            * Get the help you need
      9. Get into the line for the Gates
      10. Get to the gate
      11. Recheck in at the gate
      12. Wait for your flight
      13. Get on the airplance
      14. Get help to store your carryon
      15. Take the flight
      16. Landed
      17. Get off of the airplane
      18. Find the bag place in the airport
      19. Find your friend

This will be my first time to traveling alone, yes I did family trips, ect but not flying alone.
