Short term mission donations letter for Guatemala in May

Hi All,
I just wanted to let you know that I will be leaving for a short term mission trip in May to Guatemala with my church, Westminster Chapel. The trip lasts ten days, leaving on the Saturday of the 8th and returning the following Monday, the 17th. We are going to the Village of Cajixay, located in the remote highlands of Guatemala. When we get there we will be working alongside the local people with their crops, building new facilities and being a witness with the children.
The mission trip costs $1,600 (via self-funding and donations) which is the reason for my letter. For me, this is especially a meaningful trip because many times people with handicaps in third world countries are shut out from society. Since I myself, am handicapped, I hope to show them that God can use all of his creations for his intended purpose.
Here is some information about the trip:
Westminster has had a relationship with the village since 2003, partnership with W.I.N.D. of God ministries (When it needs doing), and Agros – Founded in 1982, (a Seattle-based, non-profit organization that works with poor, landless farmers in Central America and Mexico).
Westminster partners with local leaders to bring Pastor Training to the lay pastors in small area villages. W.I.N.D. strives to tenaciously respond to the needs of those God places before them; connecting resources which encourage and empower.
I am hoping if you are able and if God is calling you to support me, either by donations for my trip or through prayer. Any amount will help and I thank you ahead of time. If you are unable to donate, I would appreciate your prayer for me and the team.
You can pray for:
• Safety for me and the team
• Safe traveling in the country, they have crazy drivers over there
• To grow in God
• All of the support that will be coming will come
• Smooth trip
• Health
Donations can be made out to Travis McMaster and mailed to 13444 NE Old Redmond RD Redmond, WA 98052 (For right now until they tell me something different)

In his love,
